One of my students in grade 5 class had a fight with the grade 4 student in the canteen during recess time. My student was the first one who hit the other student and made the student felt angry. As expected, they had a fight and both of them received minor injuries.
According to the witnessed, it was 9:30 in the morning and my student named Angelo C. Bernardo was seen standing at the canteen waiting for his foods. Meanwhile, the grade 4 student named Michael C. Padilla arrived at the canteen feeling bossy. He started to pushed other students and doesn't follow the rule which is to fall in line. The fight began when he started pushing Angelo many times. Angelo got mad that's why he hit Michael and made Michael angry. Both of them received minor injuries and they were brought to the school clinic. They were also brought to the Principal's office to settle the argument between the two.
This kind of incident can be prevented by disciplining the students. Teachers can also allowed students to bring a snacks so that they don't have to go to canteen anymore. Lastly, teachers will also plan to have a room canteen for every grade level students to avoid fight with other students.
